Low II - Hard Cover Book

Photographer René Amado returns with Low II, the second installment in his series of lowrider photography books. In this volume, René provides a glimpse into the lowrider communities of Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Dallas & Fort Worth, Chicago and also Milwaukee. The book was created as an extension to his exhibit with the Racine Art Museum of the same name, Low, as a more broad view into his photography and these communities.

While the first book was predominantly photos shot around Chicago between 2014 and 2020, this second volume is predominantly his photography from 2021 and later. The book is also broken up into sections by city or region based on his travels over the past few years with each section accompanied by stories, history and background written by René. A foreword was also provided by his good friend and fellow artist, Victor Yañez-Lazcano.
